About us

From Dino to Tiberio, we are in the fourth generation of viganioli, and even if Tiberio has never met his great-grandfather (in the 90s Dino moved to cultivate vines in the Elysian Fields, leaving Brunello di Montalcino orphan of one of his fathers founders), he inherited all the passion for the land and for the vineyards, the indifference to fatigue and the desire to do better and better.
Dino was one of the members of that group of dreamers who in 1967 gave birth to the Consorzio del Vino Brunello di Montalcino, a dream because at that time no one could imagine, if not a few, crazy, courageous, what Brunello di Montalcino would become in fifty years later: one, or perhaps THE, greatest red wine in the world.
On the occasion of the celebrations for the anniversaries of the 30 and 50 years of its foundation, the Consorzio del Vino Brunello di Montalcino honored the founding fathers with various honors accompanied by the mention: "for the courage and foresight with which it laid the foundations of all this that we are today ".
It is for this reason that Tiberio wanted to give the wine the name of his illustrious great-grandfather, and to create the label with the same shape as the commemorative plaque donated to Dino Ciacci by the Brunello di Montalcino Wine Consortium on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of its foundation.
